Northern Safety Camera Partnership Manager, Inspector John Smith, said: “Over the next few months the volume of traffic on our roads will increase considerably as thousands of visitors come to enjoy the Highlands. I would ask drivers to be careful and considerate if other drivers cause problems, they may not know the road as well as you. Good manners on the road may just be enough to avoid an accident – and may even save your life.”
All our camera sites have a proven history of collisions and evidence of speeding vehicles. We may from time to time use mobile cameras at other sites where both vehicle and road users are at greater risk, such as road works.
